He is a eminent surgical gastroenterologist & HPB (Hepato Pancreatico Biliary) Surgeon. He started his career from Smt. N. H. L. Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad as a M. S. (General Surgery) in 2002, he pursued his Surgical Gastroenterology training as a Fellow in G. I. & Minimal Access surgery, Sterling Hospital (2003-2005) & 3 years training at Dept. of Surgical Gastroenterology & Liver Transplantation at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow, India (2005-2008).
History
Immense interest in the field of HPB surgery lead him to pursue a Fellowship in HPB surgery from Kurume University, FUKUOKA, Japan under renown Liver Surgeon Dr. Koji Okuda, to learn the advanced & difficult procedures to cure Liver Cancer & other Liver diseases. He also underwent a fellowship in liver transplantation under Prof. Sun gui lee at world’s no. 1 liver transplant centre at Asan Medical Centre, Seoul, South Korea. He is practicing HPB surgery for the last 4 years at HCG Medisurge, Sterling Hospital, Rajasthan Hospital & has treated no. of patients with diseases like Liver Cancer, Pancreatic Cancer, Acute & Chronic Pancreatitis, Gall Bladder diseases Choledochal cyst., portal hypertension etc. He has great academic interest with many presentation & publications in various international & national conferences & journals
International Work
He continues to educate & create awareness for HPB surgery by conducting CME’s. We have started a specialty Liver & Pancreatic Clinic at Shailya Hospital with an aim to diagnose, guide & treat our patients with best of our efforts.
